生 如 夏 花,
香 甜 栗 子。
II.
My Friend,
pick and dine the chestnuts of mine;
Do spread,
and Heaven shalt very soon be thine.
-- Dedicated to Mrs. Chan, my Muse and summer flower always, for her on-going support, in this case by reciting her favorite Tagore's line "Let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves" (Poem 82, Stray Birds) that served as the ignition spark of a "sweetly" scented dialogue and this playful piece, which resulted unexpectedly as a memento.
